COVID-19 Test to Treatment

Test to Treat at Plumas District Hospital, allows individuals to be tested, be seen by a provider, and receive a prescription for antiviral pills (Paxlovid or molnupiravir) at a nearby pharmacy. Those 12 years and older who weigh more than 88 pounds (40 kg) and have high-risk conditions may be eligible for treatment. 

COVID-19 treatments are free in California. You do not need to have insurance or be a US citizen. You must have COVID-19 symptoms and have a positive COVID-19 test result to get treatment

When to get treatment
If you test POSITIVE for COVID-19 by home test or by testing in the clinic or lab, and would like treatment options, select from one of these two below:

1) If you have seen a provider in our Clinics before, you can call our Call Center to schedule an appointment to be seen (tell them that you have a positive COVID-19 test) or ask them to send a message to your provider notifying them of your positive results. (530) 283-2121

2) If you have not seen a provider in our Clinics, you can call our Call Center and they can schedule you for a same or next day visit with a provider (tell them that you have a positive COVID-19 test). (530) 283-2121
